Why we built it
We built Vibin as a team project to practise object-oriented programming in C++ by making a real app people could use every day.
The idea
A simple desktop music player with a calm, soft-blue design, so listening to music feels relaxed and easy.
Key features
- Open music - load songs from a folder or add single files.
- Playlist - see all songs in a list and pick what to play next.
- Playback controls - play, pause, skip forward and go back.
- Shuffle - play songs in a random order.
- Progress bar - see how far through the song you are, and jump to any point.
- Volume control - a slider to set the volume.
- Now playing - shows the name of the current song.
How it works
- C++ with object-oriented programming for the app's logic.
- Qt6 for the interface and audio playback.
- Git for teamwork and version control.
